thefiretower

Seasonal fire conditions — trend, forecast and observation products.

In development · public tier expected 2027

thefiretower publishes fire-science outputs from FLARE Wildfire Research in consistent formats, on stated update cadences, with the source of each product recorded. It is intended for fire and land management agencies, industry partners, media and the public.

The Bureau of Meteorology publishes weather forecasts. State emergency services publish live incidents and warnings. This platform covers the ground between them: seasonal context and outlook, at cadences of days to weeks.

Not an emergency service. This platform carries no live incident data, no warnings and no evacuation information. For emergency information, refer to your state emergency service. Every product states its update cadence and when it was last published.
